24/35.- Avignon, cafe

Walking along the 'Rue de la Republique' you will get to the 'Cours Jean Jaures', which actually is the same street -- only the name changes. In front of this cafe, you will find the tourist office, where the friendly staff will give you local maps, guides, find accommodation and everything else you need.

Avignon is small enough to be visited on foot. You won't need to buy a public transport ticket, unless you want to visit some of the nearby villages. The most interesting of them is Villeneuve lez Avignon, which is a few minutes away from here. We will now take a local bus and visit this beautiful town ...
