28/46.- Alsace, Alsatian Pretzels

For a cheaper, simpler meal, Alsatian Pretzels can be bought at shop windows or in bakeries. In the background, some Kugelhopfs can be seen. Another Alsatian specialty is Flaemmkuche or Tarte Flambée. It looks like pizza, but has an altogether different taste, as it is made with cream, onions and bacon.
