How many photos should I send?

A typical Virtual Tour should be between 20 and 50 photos/pages long.

What Should I write about?

Imagine you are introducing the destination to a friend. You should try to keep a personal point of view.

Try mentioning the following topics: getting to the destination, getting around situation, orientation, why and who should visit (family destination?), when to go, weather, dressing code, how long to stay, what to see, where to stay (best areas), what and where to eat, travel budget, visa, health, local history, culture, people and traditions, economy, politics and religion, language, night life, shopping areas, off-the-beaten-track places, safety issues, scams and warnings, personal anecdotes, travel tips and excursions.

Can I send others' photos/texts/videos?

No. All photos, videos and captions sent must be your original work.

What size should digital photos be?

Any. We will resize and/or optimize your pictures for the web. The published pictures will be 570x380, or 420x570, pixels big.

Which format do I use for the pictures?

Any. Jpeg (JPG) recommended.

How do I name the pictures?

You should number your pictures. Example: 01.jpg, 02.jpg, ... 10.jpg, 11.jpg,.. 50.jpg.

Where do I send the Photos?

You have to send them as an attachment to this Email address

What format should the sent texts have ?

You should write a caption for each picture and give it a title. As in all our virtual tours, each picture will have its own page. Here you have a sample of a text file (rome.txt).

How do I send the texts?

You should attach your captions in an email sent to this Email address . Use plain text format (.txt), do not send Microsoft Write documents (.doc).

Can I send the texts in other languages?

No, your captions must be in English.

Can I send videos?

Yes, you can. You can use popular web sites (Youtube.com, video.google.com, and so on), or send us your videos, and we will reformat them for the web.

How many tours can I send?

You can send as many tours as you want. But first you have to complete one. Once the tour is online you can send new ones.

Will I keep the copyright rights?

Yes, you will keep all reproduction rights of your pictures and captions.

Will I have statistics?

No, we don't offer this data any more. Sorry.

Can I have a counter?

Yes. A counter will be automatically added to your first page.

Will people be able to contact me?

Yes, we will set up a page with you contact details.

Is it Free?

Yes, we do not charge anything for hosting the tours.
