2/21.- Sapa, view from Hotel!

The first you need to know is how to get here. The best option is taking the overnight train in Hanoi. It stops in Lao Cai. From there you take a minibus to Sapa.

You can come to Sapa on your own, or book and organized tour in Hanoi. The length of your stay will depend on what you want to do. If you only want to visit the town and its surroundings a couple of days will suffice. If you want to go on some trekkings you will need more days. The longer you stay in the area, the more unspoiled towns you will be able to visit. It is up to you.

The offer of accommodation in Sapa is quite varied. Most probably you will buy a tour package before visiting. If not, You will have to go to the city center and look for a place you like. It should not be difficult, unless you come on a weekend.
