5/30.- Perfume Pagoda, the statues in the shrine

These are some of the statues you find in the altar inside the Perfume Pagoda. This is a Buddhist temple. As in the other Buddhist temples, food and ceremonial money are offered to the gods.

The Perfume Pagoda is very popular among Vietnamese. It is most visited one month after the Lunar New Year. During the Perfume Pagoda Festival thousands of Vietnamese come here to pray. If you are near Hanoi during these days, do come here. You will see how sacred this place is for thousands of pilgrims.
