3/30.- Perfume Pagoda, limestone karsts

During the boat trip you can admire the wonderful limestone karsts that surround the river.

I really enjoyed the boat trip. The views were spectacular, but I liked even more seeing locals rowing on their boats. Some of them were on the boats to sell drinks and souvenirs to the tourists.

I think it was here that as soon as we left our minibus many local women approached us, and in a basic English told us if we wanted to buy anything. When I said "not now", a nice lady told me "ok, remember me, because I will be waiting for you when you come back from the Pagoda!". And yes, she was there in the afternoon. I remembered her face, but she did not remember mine. She did not talk to me.
