30/48.-Northeast Vietnam, Yen Minh people

People in the Ha Giang province dress very differently from people in the big cities. As you can see in the picture locals still wear the communist uniform in this region. In Hanoi people wear western clothes. Young girls only wear skirts when they go to a discotheque. In the streets they wear long trousers. In Saigon, where the American influence is even more visible, miniskirts, tops and shorts are the local uniform for girls.
