18/48.-Northeast Vietnam, ethnic minority ladies

There are nine ethnic minorities living in Cao Bang province, including the Tay, Nung, Dao, and H’mong. I am not sure at which ethnic minority the two ladies in the picture belong to. I only know it was a funny situation. I saw them walking along the road. We stopped the car, and I asked them if I could take some pictures. It was difficult making them understand what I wanted. When I showed them my digital camera's screen, they started laughing. It was like if they had never seen a picture of themselves before. I think they had a great time too. They looked even more curious than us. Maybe they had never seen a "crazy" westerner before. It is a pity I did not have a polaroid with me. I would have loved giving them some pictures.
