12/25.-Nha Trang, Long Son Pagoda, shrine bell

The Long Son Pagoda was originally built on the Mount Trai Thuy in 1886. At the beginning of the 20th century, a storm destroyed it. It was then rebuilt at the foot of Mount Trai. The pagoda had to be restored several times in the 20th century.

The current Long Son Pagoda is dedicated to the Buddhist monks who died protesting against the US supported Diem regime.
