The best time to visit Hoi An is during the dry season, that goes from January to September. Temperatures are mild year round. In summer it can be somewhat hot.

The rainy season goes from October until December. Tropical showers may make your travel to Hoi An unpleasant. If you get caught on a tropical storm, buses, trains and planes may be cancelled.
