Hanoi, as any other City in Southeast Asia, is not a place everybody will enjoy. The city is overcrowded, noisy and busy. If you have been to other cities in the region, you know what I am talking about. If you are a nature lover, there are some nice excursions you can do. One of my recommendations is Sapa, a town in the Northwest region, with its traditional ethnic people. A couple of days should be enough to visit the area, but if you have more time, take a one week tour. For more information on the area, visit the Sapa presentation. If you have five or more days left, you can also visit the Northeast region, with the Babe Lake.
