30/50.-Hanoi, street vendors

While strolling in the streets of Old Hanoi you will meet many ladies carrying two hanging baskets at each end of a pole. They sell fresh fruits they have collected in their farms. Some of them speak English quite fluently. Talking with them is a good way to know more about the local people. If you feel thirsty or hungry, you should buy one of the tropical fruits on sale. Nowhere else tastes fruit so fresh.
