The economy of Vietnam is changing quickly. In the past, the country lived exclusively of agriculture. At the end of the 20th century, Vietnam opened its doors to foreign investments. Since then, new factories are being inaugurated every year in the outskirts of the country's two major cities, Hanoi and Saigon. The fast development of the economy in the big cities is drawing many people from the countryside. You will see thousands of them working in the streets of Hanoi.
