23/50.-Hanoi, beautiful girl

People of Vietnam are friendly and helpful. I met tourists who told me Vietnamese were no as friendly as Thai, but I guess this is so because Vietnam has less experience with foreign tourism than Thailand.

English is widely spoken in restaurants, bars, tourist shops and hotels. Taxi drivers speak some English, but people in the streets will hardly speak any English.

It is easy to find a local guide with an excellent command of the English language, though.
