25/40.- Sukhothai, Market

Here we are outside Sukhothai's main town market. Although you do see some tourists around town, most of the folks out and about are locals.

Many of the signs are only in Thai. The town seems much less touristy, and more "off-the-beaten track" and authentically Thai, than Bangkok, Chiang Mai, or the beach resorts of the south. In the streets, you will see more motorbikes than cars, more pedestrians than motorbikes, and dust everywhere.
