4/40.- Wat Mahathat, Sukhothai: Praying Monks

One of the most fascinating things to see here are the various carvings. Here, we see a wall lined by what appear to be praying monks. Like much of Thailand, Sukhothai can get pretty hot during the day, so it helps to get an early start. (That also helps you avoid any tour groups!)
