7/30.- Phuket, Karon Beach

South of Patong Beach there are a couple of nice beaches, Karon Beach and Kata Beach.

Karon Beach consists of two beaches, Karon Noi Beach and Karon Beach. Karon Beach area is the natural extension of Patong Beach. The beach is long and wide. The area is well developed, with many hotels and tourist services: restaurants, bars, shops, banks, etc. Karon beach is not as busy and touristy as Patong Beach, but it is not a quiet place either.
