28/37.- Taipei, Shilin District

Taipei is home to a handful of different night markets, but the largest is Shilin (served by the Jiantan MRT station). The market dates back to the 19th century and its older section is home to hundreds of eateries serving everything from hamburgers to frog legs. The newer sections are home to clothing shops and other nonfood establishments.
