Taiwan’s Presidential Palace is a building located in Taipei’s Zhongzheng district. It was bombed during the Second World War (when it served as the office of the Japanese Governor-General) by Allied planes and underwent a great deal of restoration before becoming Taiwan’s Presidential palace in 1950. Currently there are no organized tours of the building for visitors.
