1/48.- Welcome to Damascus, Syria

Damascus is the capital of Syria, and one of this country's top tourist destinations. The city has been continuously inhabited for more than 10,000 years, and thus it is the oldest living capital in the world.

Damascus has several tourist attractions, among them the Omayyad Mosque, the Souq Al Hamidiyya and the Azem Palace.
