Go back to the river, walk along River Valley Road, and you will get to Clarke's Quay. This is a popular nightlife area in Singapore. Here you will find some nice restaurants and bars with river views, the best night clubs in town, and plenty of entertainment. In the area there is also a big shopping mall.
