We will start the virtual visit to Kota Kinabalu in one of the busiest sites in town, the KK Waterfront. This is an area of reclaimed land, as most of the city, facing the ocean and Gaya Island.
In KK Waterfront you will find a good offer of bars, restaurants and night clubs. The area is the place to be after sunset. Some of the restaurants offer folklore shows. Prices, as everywhere else in KK, are moderate, but quality is good.
Next to the Waterfront is the Filippino Market, where you can have sea food at incredible prices. (Note, dinning in the market is only recommended for die-hard travelers; sea food is not always fresh!)
