20/50.- Tokyo, Shinjiku

Shinjiku is also famous for its skyscrapers. The most famous building in this area is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office, or Tocho, with an observatory open to the public on each of its two towers, at 243 meters.

In the area you find some of the most upscale hotels in Tokyo. Among them the Toyko Hilton, the Century Hyatt and the Park Hyatt (where "Lost in Translation" was shot).
