26/31.- Osaka, Osaka Expo Park, Tsurumiryokuchi Observatory

The Tsurumiryokuchi area is an oasis of green in the rather gray city of Osaka. The park lies on the eastern outskirts of the city. You can get here by subway (Tsurumiryokuchi Ryokucchi Station)

The Tsurumiryokuchi Park was created to host the International Garden Exhibition in 1990 in Osaka. The park was designed with different species of flowers so that all year round there would be some blooming.

In the park there is an Observatory Tower open to visitors. From its top floor you have a nice view of the area.
