20/31.- Osaka, Tempozan Harbor Village

We will now go to the waterfront amusement area in Osaka, the Bay Area (west of Osaka). You can get to the Bay Area by subway (Osaka-ko Station) and by bus.

The Bay Area is a good place for families with kids. In the area you find the Tempozan Harbor Village, with its giant Ferris wheel, its aquarium, and its shopping mall; the Tempozan Park, built on top of an artificial mountain, a good place to spot the blossom of cherry trees in April; the Universal Studio Japan Theme Park, with its attractions and themed restaurants; the Maishima Sports Island, a man-made island with leisure facilities; and the Osaka Maritime Museum.
