Nakanoshima is the area in the center of Osaka where most administrative, cultural and business institutions have their headquarters. Nakanoshima is enclosed by the city's two rivers, Dojima-gawa River and Tosabori-gawa River.

In Nakanoshima you can visit the Osaka Public Nakanoshima Library, the Planetarium, and the Osaka Municipal Oriental Porcelain Museum.
