14/22.- Nagoya, Kenchuji Temple

In this picture you have one of the main buildings in the Kenchuji Temple.

Another Buddhist temple in Nagoya that deserves a visit is the Nittaiji Temple, that holds part of the actual ashes of Buddha Sakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism. The ashes and a gold Buddha statue were donated by the Thai King to the people of Japan.

On the 21st of every month a market is held in the Kenchuji Temple, with food, clothes and flowers on sale.
