7/50.- Kyoto, Nishi Hongan-ji

Menu

The temple of Nishi Hongan-ji is the best example of Momoyama style architecture in Kyoto. Its halls house several Japanese treasures, among them an enshrined statue of Shinran and the "kezuna", a braided rope made from the hair donated by parishioners.
