30/32.- Hiroshima, Honkawa River

In this picture you can see the Honkawa River with its boats. If you ever come to Hiroshima, you can rent a bicycle, and ride along beside the river.

Another nice thing to do in Hiroshima is a visit to Shukkeien, a Japanese style garden. The garden is next to the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum. You can get to the park walking, or by tram (Shukkeien-mae) from Hiroshima Station. The garden can be visited following a path that takes you around its small islands, bridges, and ponds.
