20/32.- Hiroshima, Miyajima, Itsukujima Shrine

Miyajima Island has been considered a sacred place for almost a couple of thousand years. The Itsukushima Shrine was originally built in the 6th century. Since then many other temples and Shrines have been built on the island. But the most famous of them is, and always will be, the Itsukushima Shrine.
