One of the main reasons for coming to Hiroshima is Miyajima, the Shrine Island. This is one of Japan's most scenic views.

The Torii Gate, one of the symbols of Hiroshima, is a wooden structure that stands in the ocean, and marks the entrance to the shrine of Itsukushima.
