2/32.- Hiroshima, Atomic Bomb Memorial

We will start our virtual visit to Hiroshima in the Peace Park. This park was built to commemorate the dropping of the first atomic bomb on August the 6th, 1945. The park has become a symbol of peace on earth since its creation.

The Peace Park was built around Aioi Bridge, the A-bomb target. In the area you will find several memorials related to the bombing.
