Although there are many other train stations in Mumbai, most trains depart from VT station.

Moving around India by train is an experience in its own. If you want to buy a train ticket, you have to plan in advance. Even though trains are huge, most of the times tickets are sold out. If you want to buy a ticket, go to Victoria Terminal and look for the foreigners' ticket office, or go to a travel agency, and skip all the troubles.
