29/35.- Jaipur, Jantar Mantar

Next to the City Palce is the Astronomical observatory, or Jantar Mantar, where you will find different constructions and instruments commissioned by a local Maharajah astronomy.

Jantar Mantar is located in the old town, known as the Pink City, where most of its buildings are constructed from red stones. Here is where you will find the most famous facade in India, the Palace of Wind or Hawa Mahal.
