The Lakshmi Narayan Temple, popularly known as Birla temple, is a recent Hindu temple built by G. D. Birla dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddes of prosperity and fortune. The Birla family is one of the richest in India. Birla Temple is located West of Connaught Place.
