3/17.- Bikaner, Lallgarh Palace

In Bikaner you can visit several palaces. On this virtual tour, I will show you a couple of them. The first is the Lallgarh Palace, a spectacular building (inside and outside). As you can see, its facade is richly decorated with carved stones.

In the palace you will find a great courtyard, surrounded by even nicer buildings. Inside one of the buildings there is a museum, where you can visit the objects of the Maharaja family (with pictures, arms, utensils, paintings,...). To access the museum you have to pay a fee. The entrance to the gardens is free. The palace currently hosts a five star hotel. You may be given permission to enter the buildings, if you ask.
