2/37.- Litang Horse Festival, Khampa woman outfit

Litang is located in the old Tibetan region of Kham. At an altitude of 13,500 feet (4100m) it is one of the highest towns in the world.

In the picture is one of the Khampa ladies participating in the parade. Local people come to the Festival to show off their best clothes and jewels.
