4/38.- Jiuzhaigou Valley, Five Color Lake

The recommended stay in the area is three days and two nights. You can extend your visit, if you are into trekking and hiking, but most visitors will have enough with two days in Jiuzhaigou Valley and one day in Huanglong.

I recommend starting the visit to the region in the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, and spending two days visiting this National Park.

The entrance ticket gives you access to the park for two consecutive days. Note that you will need to take a picture in a room next to the ticket office to use the same ticket for the second day. Your picture will be printed on your ticket.

On the third day, you can visit Huanglong Scenic Area.
