27/40.- Phnom Bok

One of the prettiest sites, a bit off the beaten track, is Phnom Bok. It's not even mentioned in many of the guidebooks. To get to it, you need to climb a big hill with over 600 steps cut into the hillside. It's definitely not for the faint of heart. (It took me about 15 huffing, panting minutes to get to the top, and the whole time I simply assumed my guide was a hopeless sadist.)

As you can see, the temple structures are partially ruined and a couple have flowering trees growing out of them. The views from way up here are also spectacular.
