5.- Bangkok, Reclining Buddha/hi POV

This is it: the Reclining Buddha. Absolutely enormous. About 150 feet long by 50 feet high, plaster and brick totally covered with gold leaf.

Wat Po is the oldest and largest temple complex in Bangkok. Dating from the 16th century, it was rebuilt and enlarged by King Rama I, and in 1832 King Rama III built the Chapel of the Reclining Buddha. Let's look at just the face.
