32.- Annapurna Circuit,
Dhavlagiri
As I told you
before the last part of the Annapurna Circuit is known as
the Jomsom Trek. The latter is probably the most popular
trek in Nepal. Usually people start it at Pokhara, follow
the Kali Gandaki Valley to the Tibetan Plateau and finish
it at Muktinath. Once there there’s the possibility
of going back to Jomsom and fly to Pokhara or Kathmandu,
another option is to retrace the trail, and descend back
to Pokhara. It’s also possible (but not recommended)
to complete the Annapurna Circuit once you get to
Muktinath, if you want to complete the Circuit, the best
option is to do it counterclockwise (like we are doing).
