30.- Annapurna Circuit, Muktinath to Jharkot

Muktinath is a pilgrimage center for Hindus and Buddhists. You’ll find many temples here. It’s specially famous an old temple with hot springs and natural gas jets, the combination of earth, water and fire seems to be the origin of the religious significance of Muktinath. Other famous temples in Muktinath are a Buddhist gompa and the Vishnu temple of Jiwala Mayi.
