As you can see here a good equipment is needed to go to La Pass. Although you can rent your equipment in any of Nepal’s many trekking shops, it’s always better to bring your own. The quality of the equipment you can find in the Nepal’s shops is of top quality. The only problem is that you have to leave a deposit (usually higher than the value of the equipment rented). You’ll find many trekking shops in Pokhara, Thamel, Namche Bazaar, and in many other villages. Usually the clothes offered are decorated with top quality brand names, but are just fake copies produced in Nepal. Even so, they are well done and will protect you perfectly well.
