26/42.- Almaty, Three beauties

Kazakh girls from a folk group in national festive dresses. Traditionally the woman's clothes consist of a dress(from light silk or cotton) and a sleeveless jacket (from velvet). They are usually rich decorated (depending on destination) with embroidery and breading, with gold thread and pearls and even with coins. The festive dress certainly includes a beautiful high hat with plume and light cape. Though Kz are Moslems, there is no tradition for Kz women to hide their faces under paranja.
