24/42.- Almaty, Panorama

Almaty is a city-garden. You see here more greens then buildings, though this picture was made in April when there are not so many leaves on trees. It's the main problem I met when I tried to take photos, almost all buildings was hidden by trees. News for those who left Almaty for other countries: the center is moving closer to mountains. Timiriasev avenue now goes across Samal microregion straight to Dostyk av.(former Lenin Avenue), you can see it on the right of the high dark blue building (new Turan-Alem Bank). On the pic: south part of the city.
