3/23.- Vancouver Island, the Victoria harbour

After a short drive you arrive at the capital city of the province of British Columbia, Victoria. Being much smaller than Vancouver (Greater Victoria has a population of about 350 000 people) and with a longer history than the mainland city, you will find Victoria has a unique and charming character. The compact downtown area encircles a beautiful boat-filled harbour dominated by the Parliament Building.
