4/11.- Recife, The Beach at Boa Viagem

This is the part of Recife's beach that is not protected by the reef. Notice the boats on the left. The original "jangada" was a fishing raft, which has been developed as a sit-down windsurfer. It rolls into the water. The umbrellas are for rent and it's a delightful area. Boa Viagem means "good trip" and a visit to this beach will bring you good memories.
