Nassau used to be heavily fortified, and many of the forts can still be
visited. Fort Fincastle overlooks Bennet's Hill, and offers a stunning
view over the city which stretches at its feet. The view from its tower
encompasses all of the island of New Providence (on which Nassau is built),
and includes Paradise Island, just off the coast.
