2/22.- Uxmal, Pyramid of the Magician

You can reach Uxmal ruins from the city of Merida, in the state of Yucatan, South of Mexico. There are many tourist offices in Merida that organize one-day excursions to Uxmal. Alternatively, you can take one of the public buses.

If you stay in Cancun, you can also visit Uxmal as a one-day excursion.

The first construction you will see after entering the ruins area is the impressive Pyramid of the Magician, in the picture.
