5.- Pisac, a typical street

The street you see is in Pisac, one of many towns that were established along the river at the base of the tall spine of the Cordillera mountains. The stone street and the thick walls of the homes are ready for the next earthquake. When it rains, it pours, so the street is designed to pull away the water.
